Methodology
This page explains how PoliticaHub produces its journalism — from source collection to the final published article.
Source Collection
Our editorial pipeline begins with monitoring major wire services and news agencies including Reuters, Associated Press, BBC, Al Jazeera, Bloomberg, and CNN. We also monitor specialized sources for defense, economic policy, and election data.
AI-Powered Briefings
Incoming news reports are processed by our AI system to produce structured story briefings. These briefings extract:
- Key facts from the source material
- Relevant historical and political context
- Potential analysis angles for our journalists
- Related topics across our coverage areas
Briefings are never published directly. They serve as research starting points for our editorial team.
Editorial Workflow
Our publishing pipeline follows a strict process:
- Briefing — AI generates a story briefing from source material.
- Draft — A journalist writes or develops the article, using the briefing as research.
- Review — The draft is reviewed for accuracy, fairness, and editorial quality.
- Publish — Only after human approval does an article go live.
Prediction Market Data
PoliticaHub integrates prediction market data from platforms like Polymarket and Kalshi. This data provides quantified probability estimates for political events and is displayed alongside relevant articles as market intelligence widgets.
Prediction market data is presented as-is from the respective platforms. PoliticaHub does not operate prediction markets or recommend trades.
Article Categories
We organize our coverage into the following sections: World, Elections, Policy, Economy, Defense, Analysis, Opinion, and Explainers. Each section has dedicated editors responsible for accuracy and editorial quality.
Data Sources
In addition to wire services, we reference:
- Government publications and official statements
- Academic research and think tank reports
- Public financial and economic datasets
- Prediction market APIs (Polymarket, Kalshi)
- Official election data and polling aggregators
